Mr. Clarke has served as a Director of Access National Bank and the holding company since inception. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Clarke served as EVP, Chief Credit Officer of Patriot National Bank following a successful early career at United Virginia Bank / Crestar focused on corporate banking and commercial credit. Mr. Clarke holds a B.S. Degree in Finance from Virginia Tech. Outside of his duties at Access, he currently serves on the Audit Committee of the Virginia Tech Foundation, Pamplin College of Business Advisory Council, Chair of the Department of Finance Advisory Board at Virginia Tech, and on the Advisory Board of Salem Halifax Capital Partners. He previously served as Chairman of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce, Chairman of IncSpire, Chair of the Adult Community Education Foundation in Fairfax County, the Reston Business Incubator, Chairman of "The Best of Reston" benefiting Reston Interfaith and a variety of active roles with the Optimists, Lions Club, Special Olympics, and Brain Injury Services.

Ms. Taylor serves as Chief Financial Officer of Access National Bank and the holding company.  She joined Access in April of 2012 as Senior Vice President - Accounting & Finance and assumed the Chief Financial Officer role in June 2012.  She is the bank and holding company’s principal financial officer and principal accounting officer.  Prior to joining Access, Ms. Taylor was a Partner at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP, providing attestation and consulting services to a client base consisting of financial institutions and public companies.  Ms. Taylor is a certified public accountant and first joined Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP (fka Goodman & Company) in September 1999.  Prior to that, Ms. Taylor spent 10 years in banking, primarily in Operations.  Ms. Taylor received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Kennesaw State University and was awarded the Georgia Society of CPA’s Academic Excellence Award after graduating Summa Cum Laude.  Ms. Taylor has over 20 years of work experience pertaining to the fields of accounting and banking.

Mr. Shoemaker has served as a Director of Access National Bank since it was organized in 1999 and of Access National Corporation since inception in 2002. Prior to serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer (formerly Chief Credit Officer) of the Bank, he served as Senior Vice President of Construction and Real Estate Lending for Patriot National Bank, Vienna, Virginia, from 1990 to 1999. Mr. Shoemaker received his B.A. degree from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University in Waco, Texas, in 1983. His civic and community activities include the Vienna Rotary Club (Treasurer), the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, Northern Virginia Technology Council and the Herndon Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Hackemer has served as President of Access National Mortgage since September 2004. Prior to his current role, Mr. Hackemer served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the mortgage company from 2002 to 2004, and as a loan officer, Vice President and Senior Vice President of Mortgage Investment Corporation from 1992 to 2002. (Mortgage Investment Corporation merged with Access National Bank in 1999 and is now Access National Mortgage.) Mr. Hackemer graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. degree in Economics and has over 24 years of banking and mortgage banking experience. He previously served on the Board of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America National Capital Area Council.

Mr. Jadlos has served as a Director of Access National Bank since May 2000 and of Access National Corporation since inception in 2002 and was elected as Chairman of both entities in January 2011. He is currently lead Principal of Berlos Capital, LLC, an entity formed to acquire technology and business analytics firms supporting the banking and mortgage sectors. Mr. Jadlos was previously CEO of McDash Analytics, LLC, a provider of data and analytic services in support of the mortgage industry and government entities including the OCC, OTS, and Department of the Treasury. He sold that company to Lender Processing Services in May 2008, where he was President and Senior Managing Director of their LPS/Applied Analytics division until May 2010. Mr. Jadlos was also previously the lead Principal of Griffin Capital Partners, Inc. based in Denver, Colorado, an advisor to mortgage companies and banks on a nationwide basis with respect to the valuation, sale and brokerage of mortgage assets. Mr. Jadlos is frequently quoted as a leading authority in banking and mortgage banking publications with respect to the valuation and market for mortgage assets. Mr. Jadlos graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. degree in Economics and has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry.

John W. (Skip) Edgemond, Director. Mr. Edgemond has served as a Director since the Bank was organized in 1999. He is Owner and President of Greenworks Landscaping, a contract landscape and retail nursery in Chantilly, Virginia, which he founded in 1987. Prior to that time, Mr. Edgemond operated as a sole proprietor in the landscape business in Northern Virginia. Mr. Edgemond received his B.S. degree in plant science from the University of California at Davis in 1984. His civic and community activities include the Future Farmers of America.

Mr. Friedman was appointed to the Board of Directors of Access National Bank and the holding company on September 22, 2009. Mr. Friedman has been co-founder and CEO of FJ Capital Management, an investment fund firm based in Arlington, Virginia, since 2008. He was previously Director of Research for Friedman, Billings, Ramsey from 1998 to 2007. Prior to that, he was a securities analyst with an expertise in financial institutions with the same firm from 1992 to 1998. Mr. Friedman served on the Board of Directors for Guaranty Savings Bank in Metairie, Louisiana from 2008 to 2009. Mr. Friedman graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. degree in Finance and has over 18 years of experience in commercial and investment banking industries.

Mr. Kody has served as a Director of Access National Bank since it was organized in 1999 and of Access National Corporation since inception in 2002. Mr. Kody owns and operates a variety of automobile dealerships in Maryland and Virginia as well as additional enterprises engaged in real estate investment and consumer auto finance which support the dealership activities. Prior to the acquisition of these business interests, from 1984 to 1995, Mr. Kody served in a variety of sales and management positions with The Jim Koons Companies, a major regional retail automobile organization. Mr. Kody obtained a B.A. in Economics and Government in 1984 from the University of Virginia and attended the McIntire School of Commerce in 1983. In addition to taking an active role in regional and national trade organizations, Mr. Kody is active in local school activities including Great Falls Athletic Association basketball and baseball coaching.

J. Randolph Babbitt Mr. Babbitt serves as a Director of Access National Bank and Access National Corporation. He served from 1999 (inception) to 2009, and rejoined both Board of Directors in September 2012. Mr. Babbitt is Managing Member of Babbitt and Associates, LLC, an aviation consulting firm. He served as Administrator of the Federal Aviation Administration from 2009 – 2011. Prior to then, Mr. Babbitt was President and Chief Executive Officer of ECLAT Consulting, Inc., an aviation consulting practice, from its organization in 2001 until its merger into Oliver Wyman in September 2007, where Mr. Babbitt served as a Partner. Earlier in his career, Mr. Babbitt served as a commercial pilot and President of the Airline Pilots Association.
