Position Summary:
Primarily responsible for the follow-up sales efforts to expand the banks' deposit base through commercial lender referrals and service calls to ensure the overall bank reaches it's deposit goals.
Responsibilities:
The incumbent must demonstrate a thorough knowledge and aptitude in all aspects of deposit sales including, product knowledge, operational processes, account analysis, cash management services, internet banking and alternative delivery channels used and promoted by the bank. The incumbent undertakes outbound calling efforts to prospects designed to convert them into customers. Identifies cross selling and referral opportunities to commercial lenders and other departments within the bank.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school degree or equivalent required. College degree preferred but not required. No less than 5-years of retail / commercial banking sales and service. Knowledge of commercial account operations and cash management products required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products; ability to multitask; excellent attention to detail, communication skills & organizational skills.
