Your Privacy and Security is Our Priority

Many websites use cookies, small text files on your hard drive that are accessible only to the site that placed it on your hard drive. The data collected from cookies helps a website determine how many people visit the site and what pages they view. You can set your web browser to warn you before you accept a cookie. When visiting our websites, we may use cookies on some pages, simply to help us serve you better each time you return.

One component of our online banking security system is our Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. When you visit pages requesting or presenting sensitive personal or financial data, we will encrypt the information, preventing third parties from accessing it in transit. (Look for the lock icon on your browser). We utilize a minimum 128-bit encryption to protect your personal information.

Digital IDs

To ensure the security of your account information, we use a system involving Digital Identification Certificates from VeriSign, Inc., the leader in digital certification and authentication services. Using the strongest cryptographic techniques, VeriSign Digital IDs provide a trusted means of verifying the identity of each party in an electronic transmission. Through Digital IDs you can be assured that you are actually communicating with Access when you transmit your personal and/or financial information to us through our website.

Americans with Disabilities Statement

Access National Bank has an ongoing commitment to ensure that our consumer online banking product (Personal AccessConnect®) is easy for all customers to use, including those with disabilities.

Access National Bank is focused on addressing accessibility on the most frequently used Online Banking pages, i.e. the Home Page, History Page, Bill Pay and Transfers Pages. We use Internet Explorer (IE) Version 8 and above in conjunction with Job Access with Speech (JAWS) Version 12 and above as a baseline for general accessibility and screen reader testing. This means that minimally, Internet Explorer 8 and above and JAWS 12 and above are supported and recommended for use with the Personal AccessConnect site. While other web browser and screen reader combinations may work, we cannot guarantee that other user agents will interface optimally with the Personal AccessConnect site.

Access National Bank accepts third party telecommunications relay service calls at all of our locations for those customers who may need more assistance than can be provided by our Personal AccessConnect site. Please be advised that we value your privacy and your confidentiality, therefore you or your relay provider will be required to authenticate your identity prior to being given any information regarding your account.

Customer Identification Notice

In accordance with Section 326 of the USA PATRIOT Act signed October 26, 2001, all persons are subject to the identity verification requirements even though they may be a long term customer of and well known to ANB.

For the purpose of the regulation, an “account” includes every formal banking relationship that entails ongoing services, dealings, or transactions. Some examples are a deposit account, loan, trust relationship, or safe deposit box rental.

If you request to open an account or become a signatory on an account with ANB and ANB has not previously verified your identity under the new regulatory requirements, ANB will request documentary verification of your identity, such as driver’s license or passport and/or it will verify your identity through other non-documentary methods. Similar identification requirements apply to business entities such as corporations and partnerships.

In all cases, protection of our customers’ identity and confidentiality is ANBs pledge to you.
